- Marinate fully: Ensure all pieces are completely coated in sauce before refrigerating.
- Medium-high grill: Grill at medium-high heat for best caramelization.
- Short cook time: Flap meat cooks fast — 3–4 minutes per side is plenty.

Cooking Steps
- Marinate: Put the flap meat and teriyaki sauce in a ziplock bag. Zip shut and massage the meat so all pieces are fully covered in sauce. Refrigerate for 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
- Grill: Heat grill to medium-high. Grill 3–4 minutes on one side. Flip and grill another 2–3 minutes on the other side.
Tips & Notes
- Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki sauce is seriously good. So good, it is hard to justify making your own teriyaki sauce. It is also great on chicken, salmon, and vegetables.
- Costco beef loin flap meat is perfect for teriyaki, but also great for carne asada.
